Peter Prikryl Curriculum Vitae

Creation of a young artist Petr Prikryl was until recently known for residents Hodonín. It was here in his hometown, this talented student began developing his first painting, which eventually evolved into large-scale works appearing in various public spaces. Since then, he provides a lot of exibitions that range far beyond the city limits.

But back at the very beginning. Peter Prikryl was born in 1989 in Hodonín and his artistic talent was developing since childhood. He has attended local primary art school since he was 8 years old, where the first tempera painting and also gain experience with oil paints. Much more than the paper or canvas, but it began to attract a large area. From 14 years because he spent almost every holiday with brush in hand, and in 2004 painted a bird pavilion at the local zoo, where he soon noticed his work and others. His work as soon embellished other places, such as a waiting room for pediatric patients in Hodonín hospital canteen Integrated secondary schools, retirement homes, children's homes, shelters for mothers with children and very busy underpass below the railway station. Recently decorated with paintings of interiors Strážnice school, school-Svatobořice Mistřín, radio Thaya in Hodonín shelter for dogs at the Hodonin ZOO, kindergarten for mentally disabled children in Hodonin.

The main motive of his work, the animals and nature, works of recent times, however, do not deny the inspiration or technique of ancient monuments. Painting experience, advice, as well as supplying the necessary motivation to the young artist painter Francis Čundrle, who was his mentor and role model. He appreciated especially Peter Prikryl´s monumental expression, sense of composition and color purity.

Since her arrival graduated from a young artist in the number of exhibitions Hodonín and surrounding areas. Years ago, he exhibited at the Prague Exhibition Centre, in Hall, which later burned down. Also exhibited in the gallery Futura near Wenceslas Square in Prague. The exhibition, which weighs the most, the exhibition was in the Senate. This exhibition he arranged for a former Senator and Mrs. MD and Venhodová. Mr. Čundrle painter. Regularly participating in art competitions, the largest of which are eminently success include winning the national competition Greenpeace, which makes his paintings now adorn the Prague office of the organization. For his work gained recognition twice mayor Hodonína for representing the city and schools. This year, took over for his work at the National Theatre in Prague, the price of "D" as murals.
